This edition’s Best of, awarded Saturday night: “Attenberg”, Best Movie!


Bucharest, 9th of October 2011 – Romania International Film Festival (RO-IFF) has reached the final of its seventh edition. More than 40 movies have been presented to movie lovers and world wide well known guest came to Bucharest on this occasion.Last night, the organizers announced the winners of the two competitive sections of the Festival: CineBlackSea and Woman in Cinema.  The prizes’ value sums around 4000 USD.

Bucureşti, 3 octombrie 2011 – Început bun pentru cea de a şaptea ediţia a Romania International Film Festival (RO-IFF) ce se desfăşoară la Bucureşti, sălile Eforie şi Corso, până pe 9 octombrie. Sâmbătă, Henry 4 a încântat iubitorii filmelor istorice, iar duminică după amiaza Nae Caranfil a povestit noilor fani Dolce Far Niente câteva lucruri despre filmul său, imediat după vizionare.

Dolce far niente cu Nae Caranfil, şi Dzi Croquettes, un documentar premiat!


Bucureşti, 2 octombrie 2011 – Romania International Film Festival (RO-IFF), ediţia a şaptea, a debutat ieri în Capitală la cinematografele Corso şi Eforie. Filmul zilei a fost Henri 4, regia Jo Baier, o ecranizare a romanului scris de Thomas Mann realizată excepţional, până la cele mai mici detalii.

RO-IFF: Oscar guests and story, both on screen and in real life

Bucureşti, 28 October, 2011 – In just a few days, between 1st and 9th of October, Romania International Film Festival (RO-IFF) opens Corso and Eforie theaters to film lovers. Over 40 films, united into six sections, are joined to meet the Romanian public and many important guests have confirmed their presence.

RO-IFF at the start! Seven years of non compromising movies!

Bucharest, 27th of September – From October 1 to 9, movie enthusiasts have the opportunity to attend the Romania International Film Festival (RO-IFF), the only festival to promote Eastern European filmmakers of the Black Sea region but, most of all, the only one which includes a competitive section addressed only to female director. Tickets cost only one leu, the organizer, Artis Foundation, wishing thus to promote the seventh art in a more accessible way for everybody. Tickets will be available at Eforie and Corso theaters.
